Love and obedience

This is a story of charity who decided 2 give herself to God, she was a devoted Christian who so much believed in God for all her livelihood. A day came in her life when  her parent,(father in particular)said that CHARITY must stop going to church or engaged in any church activities, otherwise he will throw her things out of the house.

One Sunday morning, charity told her mum that she could not stay in the house any longer as she had a desire to sing in the church for God. Her mum who always supported her further encouraged her  that it was good to go to church, especially as the church was a bible believing one.

Charity left to church on that faithful Sunday, since she knew that her was’nt in support of her going to church, after the church service she went to the pastor and asked the pastor to accompanied her to their home so that the pastor will intervene on her behalf

Fortunately for her, the pastor was a listening one, the pastor enquired from charity all he needed to know, they prayed together and therefore left for charity’s house.

On reaching charity’s house, they found out that her father had already packed her things and thrown them outside, he also gave an order that no one must allow charity into the house.

Immediately the pastor heard this, he went into the house and charity talk  softly behind. when they entered, charity’s angry father quickly pushed charity out of the house,  asking her to go back to wherever she came from. The pastor pleaded unbehalf of charity, yet still, her father insisted on what he said.

The pastor had to call charity and talk with her, he advice her to always obey her parent and hold on to God. Charity harkened to the words of advice from the pastor.

This action really thrilled her father that he went and embraced charity and promise to give her all she needs.

One day, Charity’s father went out and on his way back, he meet and old friend of his back in school days.  They discussed at length, the old friend decided to followed him to his house. On reaching the house, he meet charity and claimed he’s in love with charity, Charity told him that she’s a virgin, the man was happy, he said that God kept charity for him and  assured charity that he will marry her ,charity was very happy thinking it was God’s will.

This two love-birds stated  going out together on date as they were playing and laughing, this man told charity that their relationship had gotten to one year and eleven month, that he must have sex with her, the afterall he deserves it.

Little did charity realise that this man was not genuine, charity agreed what he said on one condition that the man must come and perform her marital rite, the man gladly accepted knowing his evil intensions. a day was therefore fixed and the man came for the marriage introduction.

Charity thought her worries were over, they went and stayed as husband and wife, charity happily gave her virginity to this man, and this made him very happy.            Three month later, the traditional marriage and wedding date was fixed, but shockingly on the day of the marriage, the supposed husband did not show up. The next day the old man unashamed came to charity’s house  with his wife and six children, he told them that all he wanted was charity’s virginity which he has gotten, and he want nothing more from them or charity either.

This man told charity’s father that he’s the most stupid man he has ever seen, though charity’s father knew him very well while they were in school, that he was a flex, but he still gave out his precious daughter  to him, and a virgin for that matter, he laughed at them and left with her family. 

Therefore Charity’s father was clothed with shame, he apologies to his wife and daughter charity mean while the news was spread throughout the whole city so the pastor that charity brought  came back again and charity’s father accepted the Lord as his personal Lord and Saviour

However, charity was taken to the hospital for proper treatment, but this caused her father a huge amount of money charity’s father Started going to church, later he got baptized and became a full Christian. 

He made this statement;’’ Fathers,  provoke not your children to wrath’’-but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and for the children,’’ obey your parents in the Lord’’.

To God be the glory charity continued with the church activities and rededicated her life to God, and God therefore gave her a good  man to get married to

Charity is now happily married with four children, she testifies that it pays to serve the Lord.

The family later lived in peace and harmony while that old man came back and apologies for all his evil deeds ,the word of God can never be broken.
